The last episode of the season didn't end well for our beloved characters. Like most things, it started off with the best intentions. Coreen visited her psychic to help Vicki with her love life. She left possessed by Astaroth, Vicki's nemesis since the pilot. He still wants Vicki.

In the meantime, Mike is working on a high-profile case involving a missing child besides dealing with increasing pressure from his boss to sever ties from Vicki. He disregards his instructions to work on the police case in order to help Coreen.

The group finds Asteroff making a scene at a strip club and brings him back to Henry's apartment. He is confined to the bed while Henry and Vicki seek a priest with experience in demon possession. The priest reluctantly helps the group as he's battling his own issues with his last exorcism.

The group thinks they have the situation under control but Astaroth throws them a curve ball; he's removed Coreen's heart. If they remove him from her body, she will die.

While trying to find Coreen's heart, Asteroff is able to manipulate them one-by-one. With Mike, he taunts him with a vision of the location of the kidnapped child. With Henry, he offers to change him into a human being so he could have a normal life with Vicki. With Vicki, he gives her a few moments with her vision back.

Mike returns to the station but he's suspended from duty. Vicki apologies for her involvement but he just wants to talk about their (lack of) relationship. He wants more from her but she doesn't want to get anyone else hurt. He is tired of her excuses.

Henry and Mike team up to look for the heart. Henry uses his manipulation skills to get information from the Taxi Driver that picked up Coreen at the psychic's office. They figure out that Coreen's heart is at the bus station in locker 666. By Mike's request, Henry uses his powers to help Mike see his vision clearer to find the kidnapped victim. Mike calls Kate to give her the specific details.

When the group returns to Henry's apartment, Coreen's body is near death. They put the heart back into her body and begin the exorcism. Astaroth has one more trick up his sleeve; He leaves Coreen's body, just to possess the priest. He allowed Coreen's heart to go back into her body but he didn't start her heart beat. He offers Vicki a choice, she can use the power on her markings to save her friend or send him back to hell. Vicki decides to save Coreen so Astaroth escapes after
taunting Vicki one more time.

Coreen recovers but has a huge scar on her chest. With her friend safe, Vicki has to make more tough decisions, this time about her love life. Mike wants her back and stresses his point with a passionate kiss in front of Henry. However, he leaves alone. Then Henry makes his pitch for Vicki, offering to take her far away and keep her safe from demons. She rejects his offer and he leaves the room. The season ends with a shot of Vicki alone and crying. Will Henry really move away?
Will Mike get his job back? Will Vicki change her mind and go after one of them?

Vicki - She's possessed.
Mike - With Coreen, how can you tell?

Mike (to Henry) - I know why I have a set of handcuffs. I don't suppose you want to tell me why you have an extra three pair just laying around?

Astaroth in Coreen's body - He's younger. He's stronger. You really don't have much to compete with, do you?
Mike - I take a better suntan (wink)
